- Citi are offering a 25% transfer bonus when you transfer your Citi ThankYou points to Avianca LifeMiles program through October 19, 2024. Normally you can transfer 1,000 Citi ThankYou points and receive 1,000 Lifemiles and with this transfer bonus that changes to 1,250 LifeMiles.

Our Verdict
Standard transfer rate is 25%, so this isn’t as good as that. Previous bonuses are as follows:
- March 19 – April 14, 2024: 25% transfer bonus
- October 17 – November 4, 2023: 25% transfer bonus
- June 8 – June 30, 2023: 25% transfer bonus
- April 12 – April 30, 2022: 25% transfer bonus
- August 8 – August 20, 2021: 25% transfer bonus
- August 17 – September 18, 2020: 25% transfer bonus
- November 17th – December 11th, 2019: 25% transfer bonus
- November 15th – December 12th, 2018: 25% transfer bonus

Excellent bonus if you have the Strata Premier card (transfer is not available on any other card).
Transfers to partners is also available with a Prestige card- though those aren’t open to new accounts anymore

Are there two separate bonuses, one on Citi’s end and one of Lifemiles’ end, or is it the same advertised on both websites? Asking because Lifemiles is one of the few programs that often have transfer bonuses on their end rather than the credit card’s end.

Which transfer bonus is ongoing at lifemiles end?
It should be noted that Avianca, and the whole gamut of transfer partners, is only available if you have the Strata Premier card. If you have just the Double Cash and/or Custom Cash and/or Rewards+, you only get the basic four partners: JetBlue, Choice Hotels, Wyndham and Shop Your Way.
