[Update] Citi To Remove JetBlue As a 1:0.7 Partner On Citi ThankYou Mastercard

Update 7/13/26: Citi has provided the following correction:

Effective September 20, 2026, JetBlue will no longer be available as a ThankYou Points transfer redemption option for the Citi ThankYou® Mastercard®. However, the other no annual fee cards will continue to be able to transfer their ThankYou Points to JetBlue at the current rate.

Citi has announced that cardholders that don’t receive a 1:1 transfer rate to JetBlue will no longer see it as an option at all starting September 20, 2026. Cardholders affected see the following message:

Important update: JetBlue will no longer be a Points Transfer option effective September 20, 2026. This change will not affect prior JetBlue Points Transfer transactions.

Affected cards include (basically anything with no annual fee):

  • Citi Double Cash
  • CardCiti Custom Cash
  • Card Citi Rewards+
  • Card Citi Strata Card

Citi last made changes to jetBlue transfer rates in September 2018 with rates increasing. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the rate will be changing from 1:1 for cardholders with an annual fee.
