Card Details
- No annual fee
- Card earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases

Our Verdict
Card has been simplified and sign up bonus made better. Relatively small business credit card bonus, but might be worth it for those that want cash back and have done the bigger business credit card bonuses. Also not sure if it’s restricted to the same states as the checking bonus, if so it’s CT, DE, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, VA, D.C., MD, FL only.

there is also a targeted offer floating around for spend 500 get 150 bonus, 1.8% cashback on everything "Citizens Cash Back+ World Mastercard". I didn't see a separate post about it.
Anyone open this credit card from Out Of State (OOS) and then were also able to open a Citizens Checking Account? I am wondering if opening the CC establishes a relationship that will allow you to get the checking bonus.
Looks like citizens bank also came out with a new 2% card for its wealth management clients. No bonus and have to be part of their wealth management program so not terribly appealing @will @chucksithe

That card design and non-World Elite MC for a fucking Wealth Management division is a hate crime.
do they report to personal bureaus?
If you open a CC with Citizens Bank does that relationship qualify you to be able to open a checking account if you don't live in their service area?
Anyone know if this reports to personal credit reports? I assume no but TD and CapOne tell me to check.
They pull Equifax (for now) but will be switching to Experian. All SP's. Citizens also lends nationally now so this offer is not restricted to only states where they have a branch footprint
Do Citizens business CC's report to personal credit bureaus / count towards 5/24?
trash. Just keep opening Amex Biz plat NLL. No HP.
None of y'all are talking about the 6 month 0%apr for a cash float.
Kyle did post about that just two posts above yours. But doesn't carrying a balance also carry a bit of a risk in FICO, in that one of the factors is the percentage of credit being used? Maybe I'm oversensitive, having had my score drop 70 points for one missed payment to Amex.
Until you get the Pop-up
Some of us cannot swing the highest spend to get the highest bonuses. Not everyone wants or knows how to create MS. I’m grateful to have a range of choices organized here. Right now I’m trying to find the best new biz card which requires 4k max because that’s what fits my financial situation.
FYI, most of these biz cards offer 0% APR for several months up to around a year. That's something I keep in mind when trying to figure out how to meet min spend. Worst case scenario I buy a few gift cards that I know I'll use over time and pay the CC spend over time as well.
It's worth it if you've maxed out CC offers, aren't interested in the Amex Biz platinum with an absurd annual fee or 3x the spending in 90 days and I assume stays off 5/24.
The spend for this to me still seems pretty high. The US Bank Leverage is over twice the bonus for $2500 more in spend. I suppose if you have no other cards left to go for this is ok but doesn't seem the best deal to me.
Their triple cash business card has $500 bonus with lower spend requirement of $4500.
Yes, and that's what I'm probably going for. Seems like sometimes two cards with a lower spend can yield more total benefit than one which requires about the same spend.
That's why I'm called "MSer." Gonna churn f out of Amex.
I've hit US Bank pretty hard and don't want to burn any bridges. That said I definitely agree with going after the Leverage card first.
hmmm.. I wonder what bureau they pull... Poor Equifax hasn't seen action in a while...
I do not think it matters. Have freezes on all three. When applying I lift freeze on one that has not been used the longest and have had no problems getting approved. When they say they only use one bureau more than the others, they are only interested in checking one of the three. You can always do temporary unfreeze of any bureau.
