City National Bank recently increased the sign up bonus to 50,000 points on the Crystal Visa infinite card (I’m also told that this will be the standard ongoing offer) and added some additional benefits. CNB account holders were sent an e-mail with these changes along with information regarding the new City National Bank Cash Back Visa Signature Credit Card. Unfortunately the card isn’t that interesting:
- No annual fee
- Card earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases
- No sign up bonus
Fingers crossed they add a sign up bonus in the future (the Crystal card offered 100,000 points when it first launched) because at the moment it’s useless given how many cards earn 2% cash back or higher on all purchases.
Received a targeted mail offer for $150 after $1,500 purchase in the first 90 days. Emmm…
Would get it only I could product change to the Visa Sig.
Swing and miss
they are also adding some new benefits to their infinite card. I got a reminder email today about the changes going into effect. Primarily is the $550 airline membership reimburesement when spending $50,000 in a calendar year
