The Offer
- Blue Federal Credit Union is offering a $250 bonus when you open a new Elite or Premium NOVA Perks™ checking account and Vista Savings Account and complete the following requirements:
- Enroll in eStatements
- Set up your Direct Deposit to get started
The Fine Print
- $250 new membership benefit eligible to members who have not held a Blue membership within the previous 12 months.
- Vista Savings account required to earn the bonus.
- To redeem must bring in or mention the offer.
- Minimum $500 aggregate direct deposit must be credited to a NOVA Perks™ checking account in the first 90 days of membership and accounts must be maintained in good standing through the qualifying period for benefit eligibility.
- Must be enrolled in e-statements. Qualifying membership accounts will receive the $250 benefit paid out in their Vista High Yield Savings account in the calendar month following the completion of the direct deposit requirement and e-statement enrollment membership.
- Member is responsible for any tax liability. Subject to change.
- Offer may not be combined with other, same product offers, or NOVA Perks™ Elite Checking fee deferral offers.
- Employees of Blue Federal Credit Union are not eligible to participate.
- Limit one bonus per social security number.

Our Verdict
This sometimes gets increased to $300/$400 for Black Friday so I’d recommend just waiting for a bigger offer to return.

Any CC funding? This page says yes but datapoint page says no longer allowed.
I tried to apply online, but it doesn’t seem offering vista saving online….
Called to open Vista. Only pays on dividends earned in your other accounts. Not worth opening, at least for me.
Seems like they have a 9.5% savings account but can’t find more details beyond this:
“Earn 9.50% APY* on your new Vista Savings Account!”
If true and doesn’t have a super low limit, I might try to open OOS without the bonus via the referral program.
This credit union also has a $50 referral program for both parties. Since it is ReferLive, there should be no issue stacking with the $250 offer.
