A Few Details

Our Verdict

Only $5, but a fairly quick $5 if you already have a CoinList account established.  If not, CoinList is also running a $10 in BTC referral promotion with signup and a trade of $100+.

You may already be familiar with OXT as Coinbase ran a similar promotion in the past.  [In all honesty, I wrote up that post and I couldn’t even remember what the hell OXT does … so this was a good refresher 🙂 ]  Coinbase has actually run a number of these learn and earn modules (must be a successful marketing strategy), so hopefully using a similar strategy CoinList will also offer more of these modules in the future.  [Update 2020-07-11: CoinList’s plan is to release $45 more in OXT learning modules over time].

[Hat tip to Patient CG]

History

2020-12-08: In an email Coinlist highlights that this promotions is still running.  Unfortunately no new Coinlist learn promotions have yet to be released to date.

CoinList is offering $6 in Tezos (XTZ), similar to Coinbase’s “Learn and Earn”, where you watch videos and answer questions, you may answer the questions multiple times until you get the right choice. Rewards post instantly.

This is good. I wish more exchanges would do something like this. Binance does randomly with different token/coins but is a little meh. Wish Gemini would do something like this.

Can I earn this $5 OXT during my application is pending?
If yes, how to find the link?
I can not find it in my dashboard.

Thank you very much!

If you follow the link Don posted and don’t see rewards, it’s most likely you can’t earn OXT while your account it not yet verified.

I was going to ask where the quiz was lol For anyone who might get confused like me, you’ll have to watch the whole video on that page for quiz to appear. And, thank you so much for posting about this.

Since we are talking about CoinList, do you know what their crypto withdrawal fee is like? I’ve $10 in BTC and wanted to withdraw, but couldn’t find anywhere how much network fee they set to withdraw the amount to a personal wallet?

I never have an account with Coinlist.
If I open an account with Coinlist directly, whether it is a hard credit pull?
Or they will run a ChexSystems check?

After I got the $5 OXT, can I transfer it to my coinbase account?

Thank you very much!

Don L I think you mean “here you would enter the *receive* address of Coinbase oxt wallet.”

And Joe use Coinbase Pro for sells because lower fees (0.5%).

Thanks for adding that and all your work with the site. Not your fault you’d think they’d recognize the IP addresses location and give you a heads up before taking all your information, especially since that restriction list I believe is much longer than other sites.

Same boat buddy. Living here’s got its perks but bank accounts and referrals are not among them 🙂
