Our Verdict
You shouldn’t actually need to buy anything, sip and scan icons are found on the labels, in store signage and clubs. Obviously it’s not a huge reward, but $5 is $5 and it shouldn’t be very difficult to be able to scan 5 codes. I wouldn’t go out of my way to do this, but again you shouldn’t really need to.
I think the website is broken…
If you check your email or the Coke site it may tell you of a free code. The problem is that it doesn’t seem to be able to be applied to this being that you need to scan the above.

This is currently down. I did this successfully with one account earlier in the week. When I did it a few minutes ago, it said I completed the 5 codes, but the reward did not show up to get sent to my email like it did a few days ago.
FWIW — In my area, the sip & scan things have been replaced by a non-scannable icon that says something like cokerewards code is under cap.
So has anyone had success with this?

I spent about a half hour on this last week. Did not work. Went through the scans at least twice. Don’t bother.
This died yesterday I believe. It started 7-10 days ago and ended early. Presumably due to all available GCs being redeemed, since it was incredibly easy to…… 🙂
