A month ago, those points looked like they were removed from the payout, but were still in the account. Since then, they were added back to the payout which was done today.

@Jay, thanks for letting everyone know. This one died around 10:30am EST this morning. Between the portal cashback, the 1% Chase Offer (on the first $240) and 5% at wholesale clubs, this one might have been the deal of the year. Too early to say that?!? 🙂

I have three Chase cards. This morning the Freedom Flex offered 10% bonus up to $24 in rewards if you add Sam’s under the Chase offers. The same card has an additional 5% if you run the order through Chase Ultimate rewards. On top of that it currently is a 5% category. I can get 20% on first $240 bucks of spend online.

Chase Ultimate Rewards ordering for that extra 5% excludes Gift cards, but I’m not seeing that restriction on Rakuten

I got 10% as well, up to $24 on my Flex card, so 5X points. I’ve also had moderate success with GC purchases tracking on portals for Sam’s Club, so this is potentially a great stacking opportunity.

This deal is now live as of 12:01am on 11/23. Limit is five $500 SWA giftcards per member. Even with the upcoming devaluation, this is still a sweet deal IMO.
Devaluation is for miles. Gift card value is unaffected.
@TysonC thanks for clarifying. I was just responding to comments elsewhere on this blog speculating that the miles devaluation was in part because SWA has been selling heavily discounted giftcards at Costco and Sams Club asoflate.
