Table Key & Combined Stats
To keep things easy, we will use the following acronyms.
EX = Experian
EQ = Equifax
TU = TransUnion
NI = No information
The number next to the acronym represents the number of data points we have. In total we have 639 data points sourced from the Credit Boards Credit Pull page. Of those applications:
- 26Â or ~4.31% of all applications pulled an Experian credit report
- 10 or ~1.56%  of all applications pulled an Equifax credit report
- 603 or ~94.37% of all applications pulled an TransUnion credit report
- Some of the time when another bureau was pulled other than TransUnion, they also pulled TransUnion

What Happens If Your Report Is Frozen?
Honestly with Barclaycard we aren’t sure. This is because Barclaycard pretty much always pulls your TransUnion credit report and for most people this is their least used credit report, so there is no reason they would want to freeze it.
Our Verdict
Basically when it comes to Barclaycard, it’s almost certain they will pull your TransUnion credit report. This is really worth keeping in mind as most other card issuers use Experian or Equifax, so it’s nice to spread out your hard inquiries onto your TransUnion credit report. For more information on Barclaycard credit cards, I’d recommend reading this post.
DP:
They pulled TU to approve personal AA card. EX and EQ were frozen. in CA
JetBlue biz with TU frozen (everyone in PA/NJ pulls my TU?), they pulled Exp. In NJ now, moved here 6 months ago from PA.
Applied for JetBlue Business and only had Transunion pulled. I’m in Florida.
I’m in NY and applied for both the Arrival+ and Aviator Red on the same day. Originally 2 Transunion hits showed on my report but it appears as if they have been combined into 1.
Any more recent DPs of folks in California? Seeing more Experian with Reddit DPs than Transunion, or so it seems…
Thanks
Another TU for CT
Live in Texas, pulled my TransUnion for a Mastercard
Pulled TU in January 2018 for JetBlue plus in MS.
MA, Pulled TU for jetBlue Plus.
CO: Pulled TU and EX for Arrival+ on 6/30. This was my first barclaycard CC.
