American Airlines/United Airways Flights

When you have the Citi Prestige card you can redeem TYP for paid AA/UA flights. When doing this redemption you get a value of 1.6¢ per point.

Other Flights

You can also redeem your points for flight with other airlines, although this has a slightly lower point value coming in at 1.33¢ per point.

Shopping

Like most rewards portals, Citi has a shopping section. Points are worth 1¢ a piece when using this option (apart from merchandise which will vary based on how much othestores are charging for the same product)

Minimum is lower. Approved with $5000 credit limit December 2017.

I was approved with a $5,000 credit limit. After finding out I was approved, I went ahead and moved over credit from a card I wasn’t using though.
