I understand you guys hate the company and the settlement. But, it was a pre-approved offer and based on a soft pull. Any pre-approved offer still has a chance of decline when your full credit report is pulled (not just credit karma, even banks can decline you after a pre-approved offer). The settlement is because it was not made clear about the chance of denial.

Acquisition didn’t close until Dec 2020. The settlement covers only up through Apr 2021, so this doesn’t sound like Intuit’s doing.
