Delta has announced that effective January 12, 2022 all all existing eCredit holders will be able to book flights until December 31, 2023 for travel into 2024. In addition those who have upcoming travel in 2022 or book a ticket in 2022 will be able rebook their ticket through 2023.
Did they still not update the expiration date? Or is my account messed up LOL.
oops wrong account LOL.
Has anyone heard or have knowledge if American will be extending their vouchers. Currently they expire at the end of March 2022.
I wonder if at some point they’re going to have to throw those in unclaimed property, like the gift cards I got in Jan 2019 and haven’t had an opportunity to use yet.
LOL!
Any chance this might spill over to Delta Vacation vouchers?
Still waiting to see if they might extend the 2021 Basic Economy waiver… not too hopeful, but ya never know.
Nice of Delta.
The change is rolling out and not showing on all eCredits yet.
From the press release: “Don’t worry if you aren’t seeing the new expiration date on your eCredit documents; it will take us some time to update our system, but rest assured you can continue to book tickets for travel anytime in 2022 or 2023 with your existing eCredits.”
Not yet updated on Delta website accounts. Mine still show 12/31/2022 expiration. PR department works faster than IT department. 🙂
Mine too. Still says 12/31/2022.
I’m not sure by reading this, does this include the $100 voucher I got for $10k spend on my Delta gold card?
Nice. Really a nice news. I still have ones from booking through Chase travel 2 years ago.
