Last week it was 18,000 miles to Europe and week before it was some unadvertised sale for 16,000 miles to Europe, so this isn’t as cheap as that but still might be useful.

Super short window for these flights but if you need to go at the end of January it’s a great fare. The taxes out of the UK are ALWAYS high so no use in complaining about that in the comments.
Earlier this week there was a lot of summer availability for lie flat business on AF and KLM including 150k RTs through Delta. Cash value $9000+
I’m not sure which airline loyalty program is the best anymore to focus on with all these dynamic pricing schemes.

Were you looking at a flight returning from England or Scotland? If so, they always have higher fees. Try a different city, IE Amsterdam.
