I’m new to Delta Skymiles.. I just got the credit card and 75,000 miles.. do they charge a refund or cancellation fee when you cancel a miles booking.. and any way to avoid that?
last I checked they (still) had no cancellation fees (and no changes fees in some fares)
They used to but no longer
They are back to not allowing you to cancel basic economy miles bookings, where during COVID they were redepositable

I cancelled a main cabin ticket booked with miles last week and the miles were back in my account almost instantly — without any fees either.
Anyone see anything good from PDX, SEA, or SFO, or LAX?
i saw:
ORD-SEA one-way for 4k + $6 at the end of August
LAX-HNL one-way for 10k + $6 at the end of August
I gotta look for any PDX-BOS routes.
LAS to ANC end of this month for 10k +$6. Tempting to just get out of the heat.
Also LAS to SEA for 3.5k +$6 quite a few dates in Sep/Oct
