Delta has a new round of flash sales. This time it’s various destinations starting at 10,500 miles round trip

Our Verdict

Weird mix of city pairings this week. Can be useful if you can find a route that works for you, but often more trouble than it’s worth in my experience.

I didn’t see an email about this, but right now some awards are showing up at very low prices. For example, fares from SEA-PHX are as low as 2000 miles one way over the next few months. I see multiple cities like this (SEA to LAX, LAS, etc).

30k miles to go from Seattle to Miami. I paid 40k to go from Seattle to Amsterdam last year. Definitely devalued.

Confused –

Doesn’t look like any deals to be found –

Last fall they some good and some great deals – I’m seeing regional hops of 1.5-2.5hrs for 1/2 to 2/3rd the Sky miles that Asia and EU flights were on sale for last fall.

I guess they have already devalued the $1B of Skymiles they sold AmEx.
