Our Verdict
Sale fares are usually available for dates slightly outside the travel periods listed above. I still find it odd that Delta has these flash sales when they use dynamic pricing.

a question unrelated to this post but if you doctor can take a moment to answer I have a traveler companion pass on ba for spending 30,000 on the ba chase card can i use that with a cash economy ticket and only pay taxes fuel surcharges on the other ticket? or does it need to be used only when redeeming avios? im just curious? i called ba and they the rep said only avios? i owuld be greatful for a response and thank you very much for your time
