Seems to be targeted; good deal for those who got it. Should be easy to make $50 in purchases at Walmart, or else buy a $50 third-party gift card.

Will Walmart sell gift cards besides using debit or cash?
Walmart and third-party gift cards should work with credit. Visa/MC/Amex might be YMMV on variable load cards.
I had a mysterious $10 discount on Amazon yesterday. It was itemized as “Discover Promotion”. I hadn’t activated any sort of deal, or received an email. Only showed when paying w/ Discover. No idea how it showed up.

I got the same $10 credit. At that post, when I clicked the link, it clearly said the offer is not available for me though.
