Our Verdict
Previous best offer on this card is $250. This would take up a 5/24 slot and because of that I don’t think it’s worth considering (remember you also pay the $49 annual fee, so bonus is really $251). There are Chase cards with bigger/better bonuses or long term card benefits that can be found here.

Received targeted offer on the Chase Disney Rewards Card (non-Premier free version Visa) today.
Subj: Michelle, activate now to earn 5% total in Disney Rewards Dollars at Amazon.com, grocery stores and restaurants.
Activate this special offer by March 31, 2022, and you’ll earn 5% total in Disney Rewards Dollars for every $1 you spend on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at Amazon.com, grocery stores and restaurants from Jan. 15 through March 31, 2022, with your Disney® Visa® Card.*
Almost no use on the card since 2018 opening other than an occasional (annual?) Amz reload.

Same Disney Premier SUB offer but there’s now a “Walt Disney World 50th” card edition for both the AF and no-AF version of the card. Not sure if this will be a limited-time offer for Disney’s 50th anniversary, however, it seems they are backlogged at the moment (possibly due to demand?) per https://disneyrewards.com/card-designs/.
Is there anywhere to share referral links for this card? I know there used to be one this site.
I got a paper mailer for a $200 statement credit after $500 spend for the No AF version William Charles
Just FYI if you have a Chase checking account, you can get a Disney Visa debit card that offers the exact same Disney perks, for free.
If you *have* to have the Disney credit card (or don’t have a Chase checking account), you can get the sign up bonus on the annual fee credit card and then downgrade to a no annual fee Disney credit card after 1 year. Still uses up a 5/24 slot if you do that though.
I have no interest in Disney rewards. $300 credited as US$ or as Disney Dollars?
$300 credit directly to the CC account. After I spent $1K+, a few days later the $300 credit showed up and reduced my outstanding charges balance.
27/24 applied, went pending. We will see if 5/24 applies!
Pending instead of instant denial is pretty interesting. Isn’t it?
I do realize that Disney occasionally offers bonuses for their card but it would not surprise me if it were in response to a lot of people cancelling their Disney visa cards, like we did, after reading this:
https://www.lacortenews.com/n/disney-insists-us-was-founded-on-systemic-racism
Let’s keep politics out of these comments.
A country that was built on the backs of slaves was founded on systematic racism? Color me shocked. If you can’t handle the fact we all profited off the lives of many against their will, then you’re fooling yourself.
Disney’s own internal politics has nothing to do with the fun we have and the enjoyment we get from their products and theme parks. Everyone I know, regardless of their political beliefs, wouldn’t go so far as to cut off a company that is acknowledging basic reality.
Oh also, that “news” outlet is an echochamber riddled with confirmation bias. Get a grip and stop getting so upset over nothing.
The website is run by a former high level Fox executive, Ken LaCorte.
He’s got a nice wikipedia write-up (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_LaCorte). Accused by the New York Times of running a russian-style disinformation campaign – which he said was to drive traffic. Content written by Macedonian teenagers.
Funny thing also is that the article is written by Penka Arsova. There is a Macedonian English teacher at “Smart Kids Child Care” with the same name on Linkedin. Repacking twitter threads for folks who can’t understand how to use it is probably a pretty good side hustle in Macedonia.
Still waiting for someone to explain why TF people like Disney world/land/euro/whatever. Like you stand in line for 2 hours with a bunch of kids to ride a ride and they charge you $100+ pp/day? Probably in Orlando or Anaheim where it’s like 100 degrees and you’re just sweating? I mean do whatever you want, doesn’t really effect my life, just one of those things I’ll never understand. Just don’t get it. Also, this is a fairly drunken comment so save your indignation.
The Disney theme park experience isn’t just about outdoor rides, and not everything there is for children. I have abundant stores of indignation waiting for you when you’re sober again. Can’t blame this on booze though:
effect =(verb) to cause (something) to happen; bring about.
affect =(verb) to have an effect on; pretend to have or feel.
You can’t criticize alcohol induced grammar/misspellings. Everyone knows this.
Is the magic part where your 4 year old yells at you about waiting in line for 2 hours in the 100 degree heat? Or that moment when random Disney princess agrees to be photographed with you because she’s contractually obligated? If we go back far enough I think we’ll find the root of 5/24 because somebody felt up Ariel’s handler & that just ruined it for everyone.
So why go when it’s 100 degrees? Do you not have access to a weather forecast? I have been there with coats and gloves and freezing our asses off. Now THAT was an unexpected dip in temps in January but in summer you can count on it being oppressively hot and humid in FL so we avoid that.
And I can’t understand why people like drinking themselves into a drunken stupor or dying their hair to look like a smurf or thinking there is a shortage of paper in the world and tattooing every inch of their skin. Different people like different things.
If you don’t get it, then don’t go. Anyone waiting in line for 2+ hours in 100 degrees isn’t doing Disney right and more likely you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Before everything was put on hold thanks incompetent leadership, fastpass enabled you to skip the lines and get more time enjoying other activities. Ever been to one of their festivals at Epcot? Sampling different delicacies from regions all around the world? Ever had the chance to do the 3 hour hike through the Animal Kingdom walking directly above alligators and help feeding the hippos and ends in seclusion with a savory meal surrounded by all the roaming animals? Ever watched your kids or nieces/nephews faces as the ball rolls after Indiana Jones in the stunt spectacular? How about getting some relaxation in the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon before heading over to the massive wavepool?
Just because you don’t know how to to something right, doesn’t mean no one else does.
You must be a blast at parties… :-/
Fixed APR. I applied, instantly denied. FUCK YOU Chase!!!!
The card only has one APR for all applicants, not a range.
