The Offer
- DoorDash is doing something called the DashPass deal drop tomorrow where you can get $40 off $80 at Lowe’s, ACE Hardware, Tractor Supply Co (8/27/25).
The Fine Print
- Offer valid only on 8/27/25, or when redemption limit of 5,400 has been reached. Valid on orders placed at participating merchants (Lowe’s, ACE Hardware, Tractor Supply Co.). Valid only on orders with a minimum subtotal of $80, excluding fees and taxes. Maximum value of discount is $40. Discount applies to subtotal only; does not apply to fees, taxes, and gratuity. Not valid for pickup. Limit one per person. Not valid for the purchase of alcohol. Fees, taxes, and gratuity still apply. Must have an active DashPass account. Promo code will be announced on 8/27.
Our Verdict
With a limit of 5,400 this surely hits the limit almost instantly.
Seemed to work fine. I feel bad for anyone having to shop in Lowe’s. We’ll see what I get vs. what I ordered.
what is the code
DPHOME40
It’s 2pm EST and the code still works.
Seems that prices on DoorDash are the same as Lowes online. One item out of stock, and promotion still worked so ended up getting $40 off on a $70 order.
agreed. I did the double check as well and same price. If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve, the $10 monthly stacks on top as well to either negate the fee or subtract from total.
Still working as of 11:30 EDT and stacks with the CSR $10 off. Also eligible for “Double Dash” if you want to use both CSR credits before end-of-month.
Yep, stacked with my $10 CSR discount. What happens if one of the items I want isn’t available (I chose refund, because I didn’t want the alternative) and it drops the total below $80, does the $40 discount go away?
No, discount stays!

Code if DPHOME40
Thanks DOC! Sweet deal stacked with Chase CSR $10 monthly credit to wipe out all fees!
deals like this are always delivery only. thats a hard fuck no from me dawg.
Depends on what you need. Got some door handles for pretty about 30 percent off normal price after price jackup and tip
yea. if ur able to make it work, then def do it. i just find myself wasting so much time w/ followup. ive learned my lesson after so many problems.
My fees and tip were under $20, so on a $40 deal, I still saved over $20. I threw my CSR $10 on there too, making it a $30 savings.
yea. looks like everything worked for u. obviously thats the ideal scenario. if that shit was reliable for me then i wouldnt mind delivery either.
i just find myself wasting so much time w/ followup. ive learned my lesson after so many problems w/ missing or broken or late etc etc.
Yes. Doordash (and its competitors) are extremely unreliable. Your driver is just some random person and they have a high error rate. Drivers picking up the wrong items, ignoring instructions or attempts to contact them, marking things as ‘substituted’ without picking up a substitute, not understanding English, etc. I’ve seen drivers literally going in circles on the map.
Doordash automatically refunds at least part of the item’s cost when you report an issue, but that’s not a real solution if you’re missing $20+ of what you ordered. It cancels out most deals.
I’d like to see a national delivery service with high standards. Is no one working on this?
dude. exactly this. 100%.
Past midnight EST and not seeing it under my account.
Me neither
Works now in the a.m. Thanks, Doc!
