DearDoshers, We hope your holiday season was filled with joy, festive memories, and of course, a lot of savvy shopping with cash back offers! As we step into 2025, we wanted to share an update with you. After much thought and consideration, we have made the decision to sunset the Dosh app. As we prepare to wind down, we wanted to thank our millions of users who have supported us throughout the years. It’s been an exciting adventure, and we hope you were able to earn some cash back along the way. Before the app is discontinued, here’s what you need to know: Timing: The Dosh app will officially sunset on February 28, 2025 with the last day to make a qualifying transaction on January 16, 2025. Withdrawal Reminder: We’ve lowered the withdrawal limit to $0.01, allowing you to retrieve any remaining balance from your Dosh account until February 23 2025. Please note that any remaining cash back balances after this date will be forfeited. Updated Terms: We have updated our Terms of Service to reflect the app closure, which can be viewed here.

P1 & P2 cashed out yesterday, $10-$13 each. The payments hit PayPal within minutes. Puts the Drop app to shame and their ridiculous antics of the fake 1 P.M. Thursday “redemption periods” last for 2 seconds.

I would suggest people cash out sooner rather in later just in case the coffer gets emptied.

The past cap to cash out was $25 at Dosh, which IMO was a bit too high for most. They ate at least $5 of mine for inactivity fees.

As soon as I submitted the withdrawal, I unlinked all cards, PayPal, and uninstalled the app. Suggest others do the same. Who knows if they will sell the data they already have collected/collecting?

Nice of them at least to give users a HU about the news vs. a surprise rude awakening to a defunct app with no ability to drain funds. Their CB/rebate offerings weren’t the best compare to others. Good when they paid out and sucked when you had to file for missing transactions. For some good measure, I removed all trace of connected CCs, debits and PP accts prior to emptying any loose funds via PP which was quick. Never know what these fly-by-night operations will do with user data/info afterwards once they completely shutdown.

My last $6 was robbed to “maintenance fees.”

Good riddance, Dosh.

No big loss. The app was useless for over a year.

it’s nice that the crazy time is coming to an end for most of these apps, looks like I had taken out all my 2.5 years ago. How time flies.

We had a good run. Seems like the age of the various fintech apps is coming to an end. It was fun taking advantage of them.

When one closes another opens, just have to be there and ready to take it when it comes.

Why could Drop still be alive? Dosh is behaving so much better at least let us cash out.
