Our Verdict

Was hoping for a 20% off, but we’ll have to take the 15%. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a bunch more eBay deals over the coming week as they attempt to compete with Prime Day. They excluded tech items from the July 11th sale – those were on sale on July 10th.

We’ll try adding any good deals to the post as the day goes along. Let us know if you see anything noteworthy.

I knew that it was coming. Swagbucks Spin & Win came out early (probably for Prime Day) and threw me off concerning my ordering of ebay gc’s (they take so long to come).
It normally comes out after a Team Challenge whereas if your team wins, you get an extra 100 pts or whatever depending on your teams placement which goes a long ways towards gc’s w/ monthly discounts, ebay bucks and PayPal.
In other words $200-300 of free items w/ no out-of-pocket payment.

Hmm is it worth holding out for 20%? I’m not in a rush to make the purchase but negotiated a good deal with the seller.

Also, has anyone used the discount after having a “Make an Offer” accepted? If so, how does it work?

Frank, I believe as long as you check out during the promo period (5AM to 11PM Pacific), you are good. So that would require the seller to accept your offer during/before this timeframe.

Thanks for the response. So the checkout lets me input the code? (I don’t shop on eBay much)

Yes, you enter the code on the same page where you select your method of payment.

Will, which 15% promotion are you referring to? I saw there was a 10% exclusively for tech and one 15% sitewide at the end of June (about two weeks ago) but in that post I did not see people talking about iPhone so I assumed iPhone was excluded.
