Our Verdict

I didn’t get this offer, but reader Amy sent it in. eBay stopped giving Bucks on regular purchases, but they still have these temporary promotions to earn Bucks.

FYI: Regular 1% Bucks earning ends soon, but is still active. From eBay’s announcement:

“After careful consideration, we’ve decided to retire the 1% earnings reward on everyday purchases starting April 1st, 2021.”

I never got invited to these before they gutted the program and it seems like nothing has changed now.

“Only invited, registered eBay Bucks participants who receive the promotional offer from eBay in My Messages are eligible. Sorry, no forwarding—the offer is not transferable.”
