Our Verdict
These spend offers come all the time, and it’s why the eBay/Paypal credit card is one of the better store-related credit cards to have. Just bear in mind there is a limit of 50k points total (based on the calendar year), and these bonus offer points count toward the minimum.
As a reminder, it’s currently possible for a lot of people to cash out Paypal/eBay card points at 1 penny-per-point, until the end of March.
The only issue I have with these Paypal card offers is that they take so long to post. I just got a 6k credit from 4th quarter last year. One either needs to set reminders to remember these are due your account and/or to go after rewards not given out. I really only do it on the premise that it’d be nice if these points post, not that they will be timely or something I can count on.
I just got an offer of 5000 points for spending $850.
I received the offer of 2500 points for 5 purchases.
I received the offer of 2,500 bonus points for making 10 purchases between now and 4/15/17. It also has the exclusion of the eBay or PP account purchases.
Various other configurations:
1000 bonus RP for 2 or more purchases
1000 bonus RP for $100 spend
My question is, if you make the purchase with linked PPBDC, does this still trigger the bonus?
