Can someone help me understand how this is a good MS? Card Cash offers $87/$100 HD gift card, and are vanilla egiftcards simple to liquidate?

Hey Phillip, I don’t see on card cash where it shows a 100.00 Home Depot gift card for 87.00 … Can you elaborate ???

Oh man, false alarm. You can sell a $100 HD gift card to Card Cash for $87. Hence why I’m confused about the profitability/viability of this post. New to this…

The easiest way the Vanilla eGift card to liquidate is to buy Amazon eGift cards.

I am not sure how to use them otherwise online unless the item you are buying is exactly $10.

I wish someone would explain doing split payment with Vanilla eGift cards when there is space for putting only one (1) credit card number.

what’s up with this site? They keep cancelling my order wether I do it through PP or a credit card. All the names/address matches. I’ve bought from them before without issues.

Same here, although I do not have an account with them.
I did Guest Checkout.
The last time I ordered from them was during American Express Shop Small promotion.

Anybody know if Home Depot gift cards from this promotion is swappable to Amazon gift cards?

Does your question rule out swapping with friends or family? Home Depot (also Lowe’s and Walmart) are very gift card sensitive. If you apply a $100 gift card to a $1,000 basket which contains even just $1 in gift cards then entire transaction will fail. So annoying holding up the line to split into multiple baskets, when IT professionals do exist, don’t they?

Sure you can swap to someone for cash, but it’s a bad deal for them 1:1. Not sure about your HD GC transaction example, since the point was to never get/keep the HD GC in the first place.

Not bad if you swap Home Depot gift card for Amazon gift card, it’s a win-win! My other comment ranted into a grievance toward Home Depot and I should’ve ended with the point. The point being Home Depot sells Amazon gift cards, but is hard-coded to fail attempts to buy them with Home Depot gift card.

I’m pretty sure it will work since that’s feature of the site. Just make sure you are sending it to a friend. Not your fault if your friend is swapping it, and you are not even supposed to find out if your friend swapped. I just don’t need Amazon either 😉

Anyone know how to get around the limit of 5? Just tried with a different email address and it tells me that the limit of 5 has been reached. Does it go off of the name on the credit card? Address ?

If you are trying to skirt restrictions for any promotion, best to use unique/different everything.

Problem though is defining “one per customer.” Wife and I have two accounts, as we do with just about everything else, and used to have no problem separately taking advantage of various egifter promos. But of late, with egifter, yup, we apparently get lumped in as “one customer” — guessing due to same address. Tried using vpn, and yet still their system could sniff out and block the second transaction, as having exceeded limit for the deal, even though in fact it was the first for the second customer (the spouse)….. at same address. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is a different address and guest checkout. These are just theories, as I have no personal experience with this particular promo.
