Our Verdict

Civ I is probably the best game of all time, I didn’t enjoy Civilization VI as much but $0 is a price that is hard to argue with.

While we’re on the subject about gaming, do you think Doctor of Credit will eventually have its own Discord Channel? I think that would be pretty cool if enough people are interested

Got an error message: Your account is unable to download any more free games at this time, please wait 24 hours before trying to redeem a free game again.

But, I never did get to download Civ.

Oh well.

Just as a heads up – when you “buy” your free copy of Civ 6, you should automatically have a $10 coupon added to your account. Otherwise look in the epic games store for a $10 coupon “claim” button (should be on the front page).

Using that – if you find youself enjoying Civ 6, you can apply the $10 to the $39 “platinum upgrade” which gives you all the DLC and expansions up to (but not including) The New Frontier. That’s roughly $150 retail worth of stuff for $29.

GTA 5 has been free for the past week. How come Doc didn’t post that deal?

Just a heads-up for the folks don’t know Epic, there are reports that Epic steals player’s Steam data and sends back to Epic server before. Use Epic at your own risk

LOL. No one is stealing your data. Your data is being sold by Steam just like almost every other company out there.
