Anyone else receive a 1099-NEC, that did not earn any referral money? I received a 1099-NEC for $50 and my referral earned is $0

The only bonus I received was the $50 opening bonus as a referred person, and I got a 1099-NEC for $50.
I’m shocked that ErisX indeed told me that they found my referral link on doc, so I can’t earn bonus (cs pointed out the post and direct me to their term).
I already forgot I posted the link there a few month ago, and honestly this is the first time seeing a platform spending effort monitoring all their referral code on doc and enforce their policy to prevent ppl from inviting others, instead of improving their (kind of confusing) UI/UX……
Fine, $50 is small, so I’ll move on and put my money elsewhere. :/ eToro gives $250 for $5000 investment, and much better customer service experience.
Funded 9/17, referral bonus posted 9/22. Withdrew everything 10/25.

ErisX is indeed enforcing the rule about posting referral links on websites. They told me that’s why my referrals show as earned $0.
Did they provide a link where they found your link? Otherwise it seems a little suspect
They didn’t say where they found it. I only referred 2 people (at least, according to their website), so I don’t think my account looks unusual. I think the only place I posted it was on DoC’s page.
It probably isn’t difficult for them to see from the http referrer header that a lot of people were coming from DoC’s page.
I would ask Will or Chuck to remove your link from the page, wait for it to be removed, then ask ErisX to provide proof or you’ll file complaints

Could you indicate whether an account requires submission of photo ID? That’s generally a deal-breaker for me on smaller deals and would be nice to know before trying to sign up.
Probably not, it’s hard to track every single requirement and a lot of deals I don’t sign up for personally. Often it’s discussed in the comments

I did not have to show photo ID or take “selfie”
It’s probably different for different people, depending on the info they get about you from public records, etc. I had to take pictures of ID & selfie for this account, but someone else didn’t. Similarly, for banks or credit cards, some people are asked to upload documents, other people aren’t.
Has anyone tried to transfer Eth from ErisX to Metamask? I clicked on “withdraw”, and it charged 50% of what I wanted to transfer. This is crazy.
what you’re charged there is the “gas” fee. I’d recommend you to sell it into USD rather than transfer it using the Ethereum Network
Actually is Withdrawal Fee. The fee to withdraw ETH is 0.005.

Hi, everyone, I asked the customer service, and he reminded me we cannot share our referral link publicly. They will scan the internet and once they found you, you will lose the 50 referral bonus. So if you post your link, you had better delete it to avoid a worse outcome.
So we should come up with a system that we all agree on, where we change the last letter in our referral, this would get around that. Example: referral=ABCDABCD. We plus up the last letter by 1, and change the “D” to an “E.”

SORRY, You do Not have to make $100 trade – you need to “make a trade”, but you will see USDC does not qualify as well as IRA.

I only see: “Execute at least one trade within 30 calendar days of the date of account opening”
Sorry, it’s not $100 trade, that was on the Voyager bonus. I was doing both referrals at the same time.
I wish I could delete that but I don’t know how. It is “make a trade within 30 days”
