Update 3/20/23: This app is ending on March 27, 2023.
Fidelity has launched Fidelity Spire, this is a mobile app that aims to ‘help young adults achieve their money goals’. Current features seem basic with goal tracking, ability to prioritize goals and money tips.
Existing Fidelity users are being offered a $5 bonus to sign up (and can also refer up to 5 friends for another $5 per friend).
Amex sent email this morning: We’re consistently reviewing the products and services we offer. Because of these evaluations, we are discontinuing all Kabbage Checking accounts. You can use your Kabbage Checking account ending in XXXX as usual through May 31, 2023.
How much longer before Fidelity Bloom gets shut down? Will it get shut down before the Android app gets full functionality?
doesn’t matter that was a free $80 ezpz for a worthless app thats the same as MINT.
Got an email that they’re shutting this down.

New Offer for people who opened up this Mint/Alternative
-Offer Get $100 toward your next goal.
Step 1 Review the official rules and acknowledge and opt in to the offer
Step 2 Open a new Fidelity Account, Fidelity CMA account, Roth IRA, IRA. IN APP very important.
Step 3 set up an automatic monthly deposit of $25 or more.
Step 4 they deposit $100 into the new account.
Saw this today after the app update mention a new offer in the notes.
I have a CMA account and didn’t want to open a IRA with fidelity, so i open the “the fidelity account” which seems like just a regular brokerage account without the debit card or cma part of the account. Set up a monthly transfer for $25 for 6 months from BoA Checking INAPP. And i got notified that i did everything with the officer and i should see my $100 in X amount of days after my first deposit went through.
Seemed easy to me
William Charles Dead according to Fidelity support. They swapped this out with a student loan giveaway- 3 people get a big chunk of change towards their student loans.
Thanks.
I haven’t got the $5 sign up bonus, its been over a week since I connected my cash management account to my goal on the app.
Contact customer service via secure message on the regular Fidelity website, and they will manually credit you if you haven’t received it yet.
I got my $5 bonus from this and so did my 2 referrals, but I have not received any referral bonuses yet. Just download the app, add a goal and link your cash management account. We already had cash management accounts from the $100 amazon gift card bonus a year or two ago. When you refer someone, I believe that you’re supposed to receive a message pop up in the app and select what account your referral bonus should go into? Hopefully I won’t have to contact fidelity to see what happened to the 2 referral bonuses.
Customer service manually credited the 2 referral bonuses for me.
datapoint: I’ve had a cash management (checking) account with fidelity for a few years. Just downloaded the Spire app from the Play store with no special link. Logged in and followed the app’s steps to link my account to a goal (I picked retirement). Signed up for the app on thursday 2020-08-06 and the $5 bonus posted the next day. Memo: “JOURNALED”
Do you have to get referred to get $5?
Is there ever a sign up bonus for the cash management account? I would do this but I would miss out on whatever bonus that would be.
There have been in the past but I think it’s been quite a while since the last one
They’ve had just a couple very short-lived sign up promos offering $100 Amazon gcs over few years.
thanks. I’ll wait. even if it’s like 5 years it’s still worth it lol
You just need to watch closely & act very quickly, I think they’ve each lasted 2 days or less.
