- Fontainebleau is offering a status match through June 2, 2024. You must present a valid photo identification along with an eligible loyalty card with its expiration date at the Fontainebleau Rewards desk
Our Verdict
Silver status gives you a $100 dining credit and gold gives you a $150 credit. You might have status from other programs from previous matches/deals that you can use to match to Fontainebleau (discussion of that here). Personally not worth the effort involved considering you need to do this in person.
I just did this yesterday. The Rewards counter was fully staffed and a line of around 10 customers went quickly.
I would *not* recommend trying to just become a new member to get the $15 free play + $15 food/beverage comp and then return later the same day to do the upgrade. I overheard one of the Rewards staff tell another customer they saw they just signed up today and could not do both (this is in the details of their offer), and that customer thus was denied the tier match. Whether that would happen if you returned a different day or later in the year, I don’t know (probably not).
FWIW, I found the casino nice and the atmosphere decent, but the location is way too far away from anything I enjoy doing in Vegas, and I visit a lot. I’ll just use the $150 dining comp at some point before the end of the year (it expires Dec 31, 2024) and that’ll be it.

There is a trick that any nevada resident can do to get status with fontainbleu. mirage aka hard rock offers all nevada locals an upgrade legend card so they dont have to pay for parking.. the legend card matches to fontainbleu as silver.(right now). this will give you the $100 dining credit etc.. Had a friend just test this out. he got his mirage card with a dec 2024 expiration date legend status (new member with nevada license but works for existing members as well) and then he went to fontainbleu and they matched him to sllver and the $100 dining credit activates as soon as you put the card in a slot machine. and is valid for 1 year
did my match today. got gold with my icon level at mirage which i had matched from mgm goldlast year that expires at the end of feb. they had every desk manned at the reward desk, and a lot of them were doing matches. funny thing is that mgm gold only gets silver but because i matched to mirage. it got me gold.

I’m someone’s guest at MGM Grand in Vegas all Fri/Sat Feb.9-10; willing to walk into Fontainebleau. What can I get? I only have basic MGM, Caesars, Venetian. I have highest Hertz/National/AVIS. I have Diamond Best Western. And I carry AMEX Platinum ($700 annual fee)

Caesars Diamond from Founderscard is ok?
Got mine matched to Silver. The $100 dining credit must used all at one sitting-any balance left over is voided. Using mine at The Tavern watching games in the sports book.
My Caesar’s turned into Gold again. Wyndham CSR said their website in down for status match and will resume in March. By that time my Hardrock rock royalty expires (02/29/2024). I guess whoever can make it to Las vegas by than can get this match!
I just matched my Caesars Diamond to get Wyndham Diamond on Wyndham’s website instantaneously. It’s already showing on my profile.
yes it’s working. but Wyndham diamond to Caesar’s diamond is not working.
For those having Wyndh Diamond, I think this is the best way (correct me if I am wrong) to status match Wyndh Diamond -> Caesars Diamond -> Unity ICON -> Fontainebleau GOLD. I just logged into Caesars, it’s still showing Gold, I submitted status match this year on Feb 1.

Another play would be to hit Resorts World and see what they give- they are also running a match.
I matched my RWLV Genting Monarch for the FB Gold, good for the rest of the year. I do not think this FB match will last for as long as they say. I think they will pull it sooner.

Caesars Diamond (regular) and Platinum will only match to Resorts World Prime. CET Diamond Plus and Elite will match to Monarch, Seven Stars will match to Imperial. The sweet spot is Diamond Plus to Monarch to FB Gold, as through a direct match CET Diamond base will only get to FB Silver.
Just checked My caesars and was matched to diamond. I submitted a requested from wyndham to caesars 2/1 and again on 2/5. I’d recommend a second match
