I usually don’t bother posting about free money opportunities when the reward is so low, but this one caught my interest because it’s actually a pretty cool concept.

Square Cash
The way Square cash works is that you can send money to people simply by sending them an e-mail. To send cash you send an e-mail with the dollar amount you want to send in the subject field and then cc “[email protected]“. This is by the same people who brought you SquareUp, so there isn’t an issue with them stealing your data.
Our Verdict
It takes less than a minute to redeem this dollar, it’s not a lot of money but it is a fun way to familiarize yourself with Square Cash and get a small reward for doing so. I decided to sign up and will probably use it in the future to send money to friends when I owe them small amounts (e.g for a coffee).
