Free 6-Month Washington Post Digital Subscription for Amazon Prime Members

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Amazon is offering Prime members a free 6-month digital subscription to The Washington Post
  • After 6 months, subscription will renew at $3.99/month (instead of $10/month)

Our Verdict

Keep in mind that the subscription will auto-renew after the free 6-month trial at $3.99/month. You can cancel immediately after signing up if you don’t plan on keeping the subscription (CANCEL HERE).

I find myself getting caught by the Washington Post paywall way to often, forcing me to open the link incognito instead. With this deal, I’ll be enjoy saving that step for the next 6 months. This is also a good deal for someone considering paying for a subscription since this offer renews at just $3.99/month.

I signed up; an easy call for $48/year. Journalism needs our help in 2017 folks. How many of the big stories this past year came from the big newspapers? Democracy dies without a strong press. Government can do what it wants if no one is watching. Yeah, a little deep for page about credit-card churning, but it’s true

From where exactly do the “fake” newsers get their (“nonfake”) news? Is it only Fox News and POTUS tweets? Serious question.

In case you were wondering Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, also owns the Washington Post, hence this deal.

To clarify, it’s a digital subscription. Also, if you have a .edu address you can sign up for WAPO digital access, which is not time limited.

According to the WaPo website, .gov and .mil email addresses qualify for free digital subscriptions.

Individuals with an .edu email who are third-party-verified to be enrolled students are charged $5 every 4 weeks.
