Update 1/1/23: I forgot to cancel this and got charged for the renewal. Was able to request a refund via chat.

Our Verdict
I haven’t shopped at BBB anytime recently, but if you find them useful this is a nice freebie. Membership is typically $29/year making this like an $17-$18 value to get the freebie for almost 8 months.
Set yourself a reminder to cancel this membership before it renews if you don’t want to keep it. You can even cancel immediately after signup and keep the benefit for the year.
Hat tip to SD
Never bought anything there during my membership, received email that membership has ended and was wondering how I got it in the first place lol.
Only use virtual cards
As a side note, I’d stay away from BBBY gift cards. It is in reorganization and it might well go the way of Pier One.
Gaw, just got charged for this membership. I must have signed up and not cancelled immediately
There was an auto-renew option. I did remember to turn it off. So instead of getting charged, I got an email prompting me to turn on auto renew and this was on 12/22 which of course I did not act on…just in case if anyone who signed up wondering why they did not get charged versus Chuck did get charged.
This may be dead. Tried signing up for the free trial using the included link above and I eventually got to the signup page, but no option for a free trial.
Got the same issue
It gives 20% off every purchase? But it gives me a 20% off coupon that says “THIS SAVINGS CERTIFICATE IS VALID FOR ONE TIME USE ONLY”. What’s up with that? Does it mean you can get 20% off multiple times, but you have to generate a new coupon code each time?
Worked like a charm on Friday the 13th. As stated in another post, BB&B is usually marked up quite a bit, but find a few good buys a year. Free is free right!! 😊
Saw this and bought in last night when it was live on slick deals.
I immediately cancelled the membership so they don’t renew 1-2-23 but like Walmart you keep the perk.
Just saving the 20% coupon to use for something that I might need down the road that isn’t on sale someplace else. But I doubt it will get me to continually shop there given the markup and Inconvenience.
It might come in handily when there is a another happy GC sale. I know those with Amex you could get a $100 happy GC shipped to you and you could use it. Save $15
Problem is you will likely end up with a residual balance stuck on the GC bc you cannot split payments online.
Potential roughly 32.8% off of $117 purchase – 20% + 6% (sale tax) pay via GC. But likely less.
I saw the ninja I cream machine marked up $25 but with the coupon it brings it down to where it’s less than target.
Can I cancel on line?
Yes
For some reason I could not find the cancel button. Can you help?
Login using the computer web browser. I didn’t see it in the app.
AllenW Note that there are a number of brand exclusions with BBB coupons (like many retailers). Don’t know if Ninja is one of them but wouldn’t be surprised.
No it wasn’t when I tried on the 12th.
Link doesn’t work. Can someone post the link without the tracker?
Works fine for me. Try this https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/loyalty/beyondplus?cohortType=QlBMVVNfRlJFRV9UUklBTF8yMDE5
This link still works for me.
Thanks, I’ll update the link
The only time I ever shop at BBB is (1) during a liquidation sale or (2) when I need a public restroom. Nowadays there are so few stores left that I can’t do either.
Yes, this is a thinly veiled attempt to harvest hard-coded credit card numbers and billing information from the general population, but it’s also a great PR move to remind said population that BBB is still somehow in business.
I’ve been there twice in the last few years…to use the KeyMe kiosk.
You’re in luck. This deal comes with free shipping, so you can sit on the pot at home and order your sale items. 😉
