Our Verdict
Pay With Ibotta is similar to MPX where you buy the gift card and then use that to pay. Far as I can tell, anyone can do this deal by buying the $10 Chipotle gift card, whether or not you’ll actually use that gift card at Chipotle or give it to a friend or resell it. It’s basically a free $10 Chipotle gift card, correct me if I’m wrong.
If you’re new to Ibotta, our appreciation if you signup with my referral link or Will’s referral link. You’ll also get $20 for joining (though I’m not sure exactly what the requirements are for you to earn those $20, please let us know if you have a link to describe this). That makes it a good time to signup since you should be able to land up with $30 total for the signup.
I just bought a $19 gift card and only $10 was credited (unlike others, below). So it seems they fixed it to limit the earnings to $10. Not sure if those who already got $19 got claw backs.

Ha, Greed. It said 100% cashback and enter up to $100. So I entered $50 and it said I would get $50 in cash back just below the number and before I paid…..devil in me I went ahead. Alas, only $10 credited. On the bright side and to my credit, I was out of Chipotle gift cards, was thinking of going to Chipotle for lunch today anyway and at least I did not enter $100
when i logged into the app with the offer, it showed that i could receive up to $19 as cash back…
so i bought a $19 gc in the app
