Silver status is pretty useless but if you have stays during that period you might as well sign up.

This particular status match is useless, but Hilton Silver itself is not: fifth free award night & waived resort fees is by far the most valuable benefit of the no-AF Hilton CC if you don’t have any of the premium Hilton cards.
Waived resort fees are part of the Hilton program in general – but TIL 5th night free is part of Silver status, assumed it came by default
Great timing on this for me- I’ve got 4 nights booked already and another potential 4 for March- Maybe I can actually get status this time.

It does give you instant Silver. But it looks like you can’t get to Gold with 8 nights stay unless booked via Navan.
