Our Verdict
Redemption period of one and half hours is pretty poor. At least you only have to get your order in by that time. I imagine it’s going to be a mad house trying to actually place an order though. Still if you could use some free pizza and a drink and don’t mind waiting in line then it’s a great deal.
Hat tip to Danny Deal Guru
My location ran out of lunch pizzas and was giving away a regular cheese or pepperoni pizza instead. Hurray!
I stopped by Little Ceasars at 12:30 pm and they had run out of pizza by then. The employee said they had 250 “free” pizzas and they were gone in less than 45 min..
I thought this would be an under-the-radar deal. I got there a few minutes after 11:30 am and the line was 40 people deep. But, it moved pretty quickly and we got a couple pizzas in about 10 minutes. Thanks!!!
I arrived at 11:15, doors opened at 11:25 and I was out the door w pizza and drink by 11:34. It was fast and easy.
You can thank my Alma mater for the free pizza.
Showed up at 11:25 and it was about 50-60 people in line waiting. But after waiting in the car for 15 min the line was down to 5 people. I say well over 100 pizza were given out while I was there. I can say that they were well prepared with getting people in and out very fast. All the pizzas were pre-made pepperoni.
Thanks for the reminder! I ran to a local store here in IL, small city in the southern part of the state. Folks were friendly, everyone in line was cool and I would actually say I had fun. The way “placing orders” works is the first two or four people in line get acknowledged by the cashier and they give you your soda while you wait for the pizza. I’d be a little nervous about getting there close to 1pm, though – just in case some folks get uppity about being in line but not receiving their free food by 1pm.
Got it. Cheese or pepperoni. The pizzas are already made and boxed, and rung up at $5.40. No long line, 5-6 in front, and 3 more behind me.
Line is long AF. I feel like I’m in the service again waiting to get into the chow hall.
Just got mine! There was a huge line but it moved super fast. Thanks, DoC!
