Update 11/28/22: Deal is back for the $50 voucher. No bonus miles this time. (ht Frontier)
The Offer
- Frontier is offering a $50 voucher and 10,000 bonus miles when you sign up for a new Discount Den membership by September 16th ($59.99 cost)
The Fine Print
- One time 10,000 Bonus Miles and $50 Frontier Airlines voucher on all new Discount Den subscriptions purchased at Flyfrontier.com com September 8, 2021, through September 16, 2021.
- Limit one 10,000 mile bonus and one voucher per Discount Den member and email.
- The flight voucher is only valid towards one future purchase of flight fare on Frontier Airlines for one-time use.
- Any unused value will be forfeited.
- The flight voucher can only be used toward flight fare.
- The flight voucher will expire 180 days after issuance. 10,000 bonus miles is enough for a one-way domestic Value redemption on Frontier Airlines.
- Miles will expire after 6 months without any other accrual activity unless otherwise stated.
- The miles and voucher have no cash value and may not be applied to past bookings or subscriptions, refunded, sold, bartered, or traded. Miles and voucher will not be awarded on cancelled, refunded or free subscriptions.
Our Verdict
In the past it was $100 Frontier voucher. Discount Den isn’t hugely exciting. I guess it can be a good deal if you can use the miles and also the $50 voucher.
Anyone get voucher yet?
Get burned by this POS “airline” once (and it will happen, eventually, in a massive way) and see how you feel about this “deal.”
any DP on how long the voucher takes this time around?
Annual membership costs $59.99 for one full year of savings. New members pay $99.99 their first year, $59.99 + $40 enrollment fee (this includes returning members who have previously cancelled their membership).
The addition of the enrollment fee and removal of the bonus miles really take the value out of this year’s iteration. This has to be a pass for most people now?
There is a $40 enrollment fee, please put an accurate title.
I’d rather walk.
Frontier’s voucher is extremely hard to use. Beware the voucher is for one-time use only. You have to use it within 90 days, or you lose it. It covers only the base fare (about 10% of the total ticket price), NOT covering fees and taxes. All remaining balance will be forfeited after one-time use.
$99.99 to join, not $59.99
They charge some $40 enrollment fee, right?
Typical of frontier
Deal is back, with $50 voucher credit. No miles. Chuck William Charles
Frontier suddenly refunded my payment for Discount Den and then charged me again, without any interaction from my side. What games they are playing?
(Voucher and miles are issued, no complaints here.)
