- Complete ten debit card transactions in the month of April 2017
The Fine Print
- To qualify for $100 bonus, member must open checking account in one of our Georgia locations between January 17 and March 31, 2017.
- Member must have either a qualifying direct deposit of regular income of $750+/month or complete 10+ debit card transactions in the month of April 2017 to receive bonus.
- Smart Start Teen Checking accounts, Opportunity Checking accounts, and members with current FCCU checking accounts are not eligible for $100 bonus.
- Minimum opening deposit for Free and MyWay Checking is $25; minimum opening deposit and average daily balance to receive benefits for iEarn! Checking is $1,000 and for iEarn!50+ Checking is $5,000.
- No minimum balance required to obtain bonus, which will be the only interest paid on a Free or MyWay Checking account and included in the Annual Percentage Yield for iEarn! and iEarn!50+ Checking, and will vary based on actual balances and be reported as interest. Fees may reduce earnings on the account.
- To receive bonus, account must be open and in good standing on the day the bonus is posted in May 2017.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Their free checking account is eligible for the bonus and has no monthly fees to worry about. I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if any early account termination fee is charged or not.
