Our Verdict
Previously you could get a $50 bonus with $500 in trading. This $150 deal is obviously much better, though it does require trading $1,000 For the previous deal, you had to do the trading requirement within 3 days of joining; I can’t find information on the timeframe for this deal.

Is anyone else keeping their $1,000 in here? I’ve put mine in the Gemini earn balance and I’ve made like $9 in interest over the past month and a half. Granted it’s more risky but so too is the payoff so far …. What do you think

After a month of waiting to be verified, I finally made it past that hurdle (the issue was P2 using the same phone number as P1). I asked them if they could extend the $150 offer since it took so long to be verified – they asked for a copy of the Motley Fool promotional email and “they’d see what they could do.”

Scam. Just 10 usd bonus.
Super frustrating trying to fund my account… added Chase bank via Plaid- won’t let me do ACH as they’re still verifying my account. Fine, I put in a debit card- entered the microtransaction amounts, they said they were wrong and then locked me out from verifying again?? FINE, I’ll open a Fidelity account so I can do free wire transfers. Put it in via Plaid and I can’t even do wire transfers because they’re still verifying my identity? LE SIGH. Still stuck in limbo right now waiting. I opened my account on 2/3
FYI, this deal still works. Applied 2/4 at 6PM. Opened account, funded via PIaid. Received Bitcoin 2/5 at 9PM. There was also a SB deal on the Revenue Universe that I stacked this with… only 1110SB, but it worked! $136 in all… Bitcoin price increased after they gave me my bitcoin, so even with the selling fee, it should be good!

Same here, I submitted a case to waive it, still waiting for reply. Gemini is obviously not user-centric. They don’t care wire transfers cost a lot.
