- 16% on Topcashback
Good time to use the $200 Amex business Platinum credit which renewed this month for the second half of the year. You can also price match the Amazon prices to Dell as well. (I’m not sure if that messes up shopping portal usage?)

Did you get an “order received” email and a “order confirmed” email before you got cancelled?
Only “order received” email, no other communication from Dell. I can see it’s canceled in my account and a reversed charge on my Amex.
I got a confirmation email. I wonder how they pick and choose. Did you have an address line 2?
I tried twice: first order didn’t have my apartment number at all (gone missing by Dell). Second order had Apt in the first line (with street address). Now these headphones are oos so maybe it was an inventory issue?

Dangit, I used the 10% back just a few days ago from Rakuten! I used 3 Amex Biz Plats to get an Xbox X. The old One X has served us well, but it’s time to go. I’ve used these for monitors and Hue lights last year. I was tempted for some camera gear as they have some Sony and Cannon stuff, but even with the discounts those are too rich.
Yeah, same here. Pretty sneaky to do a 10x promo just prior to 15x. Bait people into what looks like the top rate, then lower it immediately after. Don’t have to pay out 15x on the Dell “regulars”.
Price matching will cancel the portal tracking as the CS rep will email you a quote that you have to click through in order to get the discounted prices. Probably safer to take the price match if the difference is within a few %, as I’ve had quite a few denials from TCB lately.
The mailing of a price quote/clicking-that-quote is also done when one requests a Veteran’s discount. Not only does it foil portal tracking, but it takes one through a path that doesn’t allow Dell’s typical three forms of split payment, thus preventing the use of multiple Business Plats.
If other veterans know of a method to use Dell’s veterans discount while splitting payments/allowing multiple plats, please inform.
I had the same problem of quote not working with split payments, but got it to work with Dell calling me to complete it. No portal tracking tho, but this was during a non-elevated purchase.
Try using the Rakuten Chome plugin on the quote page. Rumor has it that the CB will still track
