The Offer
US Bank just sent out an excellent email offer for some Cash+ cardholders. Other US Bank cards like Club Carlson and Flexperks are getting targeted too.
- Get $25 cash back when you make three $25 purchases on Amazon in April and May
- Get 2,500 FlexPoints when you make three $25 purchases on Amazon in April and May
No activation is mentioned; just be sure to make three purchases of at least $25 each to get the $25 bonus reward.
The Fine Print
- Promotion period is from April 4, 2017 through May 31, 2017.
- In order to receive this offer, you must use your card to make at least three Amazon.com purchases of at least $25 each during the promotion period to receive $25 statement credit.
- The $25 statement credit will be applied to your card account within 10-12 weeks after the end of the promotion period.
- This offer is not transferable. Your card account must remain open, have available credit, and be current (no minimum payment past due) to qualify.
- This offer may not apply if your credit card has changed to a different type of card within the last 12 weeks or changes before the statement credit is applied.
- This offer is accurate as of March 20, 2017.
- If you have any questions, call Cardmember Service at 888-551-5144.
- Any three purchases qualify – including gift cards, books, electronics, computer games and more.
Our Verdict
It’s obviously a no-brainer kind of offer. Either just buy three $25 Amazon gift cards or sit it out and use it on regular purchases in April and May. Notate your calendar on May 30 to make sure you completed the spend.
We posted the same offer yesterday for the Fidelity Visa Signature card which makes sense since that card is run by US Bank/Elan. Others got a similar offer on U.S. Bank cards for Paypal instead of Amazon.
In the case of the Flexperks card, the offer is for 2,500 FlexPoints instead of $25 cash back. That’s really the best offer since the points can be redeemed for up to $50 worth of travel.
We appreciate those who use our affiliate link when shopping on Amazon. You can alternatively use JetBlue for 3 miles per dollar.

REI Mastercard
There’s a similar offer on the REI Mastercard, but it’s a bit better (thanks to reader artgriego):
- Get a $25 statement credit when you make any three $25+ purchases with the card.
No need to use it on Amazon specifically.
I got both, but one showed as a statement credit, one showed as a BONUS OFFER in My Rewards.
My statement just closed and still nothing. Anyone else didn’t get this $25 credit yet?
Ohhh, I see, I actually did get it. My offer was on the Fidelity card, and it comes as points, not as statement credit.
I got the offer for both Amazon & Paypal and did both. I got a 25 dollar reward bonus today, so I’m not really sure which one it is for. However, I only got one, so I SM’d them to see if the other is coming.
I also got offered both and did both, but only one bonus posted. Did the SM work to get the second $25 bonus?
They said that I did indeed qualify for both offers. They then said to wait a little longer for the second one. I still don’t see it on my newly earned rewards though. I’ll send them a message in two weeks if it doesn’t appear.
anyone got the credit?
Nothing here

No cashback yet.
Anyone have this post yet?
The $25 statement credit will be applied to your card account within 10-12 weeks after the end of the promotion period.
Promo ended May 31
Interesting would 3 “Reload Your Balance” transactions by $25 each trigger the deal?
Should work. I bought e-gift cards out of caution.
I got both the previous $25 off $75 PayPal offer as well as this $25 off $75 amazon offer. Both on the US Bank Cash+.
I got this on my fidelity visa but not on my cash +, I wonder how they picked.
question, lets say if I signed up for a supplementary card and registered another email address to it. wouldn’t it be possible to receive the offer on the 2nd credit card? if so don’t i get two offers that I can use.
just a thought, if that is the case i will probably sign up for a supplementary card on all future credit cards.
Thank you
I don’t know, I’d guess they only send the offers to the primary cardholder.
