The Offer
Stop&Shop (pg. 16), Giant (pg. 10), Martin’s
Stop&Shop, Giant, and Martin’s are offering one of the following deals in honor of Father’s Day:
- Get 4x fuel points on all third-party gift cards.
- Buy $100 in any gift card and get $15 off your next order. (Previously we listed the specific gift cards pictured, but the ad states “all gift cards” so it seems this will work on any.
The Fine Print
- Valid from June 7th until June 17th, 2019
- $15 discount code good until June 24th, 2019
- Limit one per person
Our Verdict
Great deal especially if it’s available on all third party gift cards. Remember to use your Chase Freedom card for 5x on up to $1,500 at the grocery this quarter, or use a card that earns bonus rewards at the grocery.
Hat tip to DDG
This successfully worked for me on four $100 Amazon GCs earlier. Two different people, two different cards and two cards per store. Both stores in CT.
Just picked up Amazon card using BCP. Bonus coupon says limit one coupon per customer per transaction.
Limit 10 offers per household.
Will stack with a $15 off $100 happy gift cards on my AE BCP
William Charles, are you sure this is correct: “Limit one per person”? I just looked at the circular and it states “Limit 1 Offer Per Transaction” which obviously is not the same thing.
If I remember correctly, these types of coupons have a limit of 10 (not 1) written in the terms. Can someone that has received a coupon confirm this is still the case?
Yes. Limit one coupon per customer per transaction. Limit 10 offers per household.
Thanks.
And technically, I think that’s really 10 offers per card member. So I can get it 20 times between my wife’s card and mine even though we are registered at the same address.
This works with Amazon GC. Got it this morning.
Gas can icon on the home page is incorrect. This deal has nothing to do with gas points.
So only gas points for the gift cards this week at Giant? I don’t need gas points (got them last week) — but I was going to but a Happy Guy gift card to use at Home Depot and get some discounted groceries out of it. I guess not?
Giant in Central PA just added ability to redeemed gas rewards towards “Grocery Dollars”. Basically 100 points, gets you $1 towards groceries. Not as good of value as gas, but there is only so much gas I can use so this will be a good fall back for extra points.
Thanks. That’s good to know. It’s certainly a good way to get rid of otherwise-expiring gas points. Before Easter, they had a promo that allowed me to use a modest amount of gas points for a honey ham. I assume this is an extension of that effort. Can you do the same at S&S and Giant MD?
But It doesn’t sound like their “gas to groceries” conversion is as good as at the Albertson’s (Safeway & Acme) chain. There, you can get pretty good value by using gas “points” to get free items like butter and various weekly specials. Lately, though, my Visa/MC gift card purchases at Acme haven’t earned any gas points. I’m not sure if they were ever supposed to. Acme often sells Visas and MCs below face value on their promos, so it kind of depends on what you’re looking for.
Hi SteveH,
What store exactly in Central PA allows you to do Grocery Dollars? Is there a quick way to search? Is this store wide or targeted? I called 255 S Spring Garden St, Carlisle, PA 17013 but they don’t know what I am talking about. Thanks.
I’m in State College but on the home page of giantfoodstores.com, there is an option towards the center of the page that says “Choose Your Rewards”. On the following page, you have the option for Grocery Dollars.
This is only happening at Stop & Shop, not Giant (MD). Giant has a separate promo for 4x gas points.
Confirmed. I checked the flyer for Giant in VA.
the ad literally says works on ALL gift cards besides visa, mc, amex, and stop and shop…
So Amazon gc should work?
yes
Yes it does work for Amazon at Stop & Shop.
so you get a 15$ coupon printed out?
The terms say Pictured cards and more. Could work on other gift cards. Doesn’t usually say “and more”
