[Expired] Giant, Stop&Shop, Martin’s: Purchase $250 In Visa Giftcards & Get $15 Off Grocery Purchase

This offer has expired, view more giant deals here.

The Offer

Stop&ShopGiantMartin’s

  • Get $15 off your grocery purchase when you purchase $250 in Visa gift cards (you must buy $15 in groceries along with the Visa gift card. It’s an instant discount rather than being off your next purchase).

The Fine Print

  • Valid until April 8th, 2018

Our Verdict

Make sure you use a credit card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases. I guess this means we probably won’t see any more fuel points deals until after this promotion has ended unfortunately. Might be worth waiting until closer to the end of the promotion just in case one does come along that allows us to stack this deal with it.

This shows up on my Stop&Shop account (but they don’t have any $200 gift cards :-/ ), but doesn’t show up on my Giant account (where they DO have the $200 gift cards). Bleah.

4/6-4/12 is 3X on VGC. Now use that with Discover Q2 5% and this $15 promo along with 3X – there is lot of savings to be made.

Did this today without issue after loading onto my account. In retrospect should have waited until April 1st and used my Discover Card for 5% cash back.

Anyone know if you can redeem more than one of these per account?

I used mine last night and the coupon disappeared from my account so I guess it can only be used once per account.

Does the $15 off coupon print on your receipt for future use or does it come off on the same transaction as the gift card purchase?

You need to buy at least $15 of groceries in the same transaction and it will deduct $15 off your total.

3/30 to 4/5 is same deal as this week 4x. If anything comes after that will be a MC or Amex. I am still going to wait till 4/5. Worst case this deal can be combined with discover 5% on groceries in Q2.

already live — expires April 8th (that is, if you’ve loaded it to your corresponding account. I loaded it at my Giant account first — logged out — then (w/o clearing cache), logged in to my Martin’s account — and the coupon was already loaded there too. (has me wondering now if I’ve inadvertently linked the two accounts)

If you have a Chase Freedom card in your Android or Apple Pay, then you can do the deal by 3/31 and get 5 percent in UR.

Curious you mention Android or Apple pay — presume then you understand they both work at Giant (etc).

How ’bout Chase Pay? Embarrassed I didn’t catch this before — yet does Chase Pay actually work at such grocer chains? (I saw the December announcement that Kroger has cut a deal for using Chase pay in 2018…. “sometime” — is that live as yet too?

Android and Apple pay both work at the three Giant stores near my home. I’ve used them many times at Giant (especially this quarter since Chase is giving back 5 percent). I haven’t tried Chase Pay but it’s NOT listed as a merchant location in the Chase Pay app.
