PLEASE stop calling these fixed-value CREDIT CARDS gift cards. They dont drain like normal gift cards so emptying them is a royal PITA
Right, what is the process with these? Gave wife a couple for Panera bread and she said it was a real PIA to use. She couldn’t use it at the drive through. Had to go in to use and they had a hard time figuring out how to use it. She told me not to get them again.
Edit: Nevermind. I read a blog about them, needing to be used as a Credit transaction, and needing as the customer to enter the 3 digit code. So that is why it probably couldn’t be used at drive up. Wife is right, then because that makes it a PIA to use then compared to anything else.

(which includes no restaurants that are “local” to me, so the name is kinda dumb)
At least, that’s what GCM shows me, with “happy-local-eats-west-gift-card” in the URL. The “west” sounds like there might be other versions of the card available too.
