GC Galore noticed that the Giftcardmall subdomain on the Office Depot website still sells $500 Visa gift cards. Activation fee is $5.95 per card, and there is a free trackable shipping option.

Just applied Amex credit card and need to meet $3000 spend, I could hardly make all the spending organic, so have to buy some gift cards. I heard that Amex is very strict with manufactured spending lately ( RAT ) Could anyone with experience could let me know if there will be issues for buying gift cards at grocery store or office store? Thanks.
I wouldn’t do it. There’s a high chance it won’t count or it’ll get clawed back.
I created an account with usps.giftcards dot com yesterday but am unable to place an order. I can add GCs to the cart, but system doesn’t proceed to checkout no matter what I do. I logged off/logged back in, deleted the order and created a new one, tried different browsers, added my CC and home address in profile, but still system doesn’t allow my to proceed to checkout. Is anyone experiencing this issue? Or is this because my account is new and needs a manual review/approved?

Never tried the Simon mall online.
My guess is this or other similar GC deal would come back during holiday season…so personally I am holding on to my Freedom Q4 category for now.

Not working for me.
Went to site, checking out as guest.
But when I click t the final ‘Order’ button it gives me the error message that my 3 digit CVV ‘security code is wrong’ (from my PPK).
Started with an attempted order of 3 VGC’s, reduced it to 1 card.
Changed the security code with paypal (you can manually set a new one).
Used my 2nd paypal account with a brand new PPK.
Tried different web browsers and incognito mode.
Tried both USPS website as well as the OD one.
Always ‘Security code is wrong’.
After all this I check my Chase online banking and see that my multiple tries all resulted in pending charges on my account, but also simultaneously a negative charge (basically zero’ing it out).
Also saw that I got an email from Paypal for each transaction (but clicking on the transaction ID takes me to paypal where it says that “The temporary authorization was canceled and your payment method wasn’t charged”).
So, yeah… 🙁
Never requested a VGC via mail before. Now thinking of ordering a couple to use the Discover Q3 category bonus. Wondering how risky it is i.e., what if the mail never arrives…$1K lost?
Can you checkout via paypal? I don’t see that as an option

Hoping I can purchase Visa and MC gift cards then purchase money orders with them. I did something like this more than 5 years ago a couple of times. Not sure of the process and precautions since then.
I would not ask if I did not really need the help. I don’t churn credit cards any more because I can never do the spend unless if it’s like $1,000 such as the Southwest was the last time I applied more than a year ago.

Because there’s no link to this to click through? Couldn’t you just append the (for example) Rakuten info to the end of the URL?
Giftcardmall portal won’t work. Possibly an OD portal would work, but seems unlikely they’ll payout on any gift card, certainly not one which processes through Giftcardmall.
Does it earn 5x on Chase ink?

Exactly…and the grocery store means I don’t have to wait 8 days for the card to come.
I haven’t seen any grocery stores sell $500 VGC, only $200 max. Where do you shop yours at? TIA.
