[Expired] Giftcards.com: Save 10% On $100 Visa eGiftcards With Promo Code SUPERDAD2024, SUPERDAD, SUPERDAD10, SUPERDAD24 (Limit 3)

Update 6/12/24: New code SUPERDAD2024 works as well.

Update 6/5/24: Deal is back again. Promo codes SUPERDAD and SUPERDAD10 and SUPERDAD24.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer (contains our affiliate – you might want to use a shopping portal instead)

  • Giftcards.com has 10% off on $100 Visa virtual gift cards with promo code SUPERDAD and SUPERDAD10. Limit 3 cards.

The Fine Print

  • Promo code SUMMER10 valid 05/13/2024 – 06/02/2021 for 10% off the purchase of up to $300 worth of Visa Virtual Gift Accounts from Giftcards.com while supplies last (maximum value $30)

Our Verdict

Max this out with a single order of three $100 Visa e-gift cards, and you’ll end up with a bit of savings. The fee is $5.95 per card, and you’ll get $10 off. Total should be $4.05 ‘profit’ per card which some might find worthwhile. Readers were saying with prior deals that shopping portals were tracking. That would sweeten the deal somewhat. YMMV.

Let us know if you find any other working promo codes and we’ll add it in.

Update History:

  • Update 5/19/24: New code VISASUMMER10 (ht aaron)
  • Update 5/15/24: New code is SUMMERVISA10.

Thanks, worked for me on the second try with my Citi MC. I am just hoping my insurance still accepts these. Maybe Cap1 offers will also work, that would be peachy. Might try to buy a second set later.

Balance check never worked for me since this promo started. I used the giftcardmall site.

thanks. I didn’t know you could check these cards there. I like the format of giftcardmall a lot better too. giftcards.com changed formatting recently in their balance check and it seemed to be missing information if it even worked at all. like it would just say something generic like “online purchase” instead of the actual merchant/website name.

Seems like balance works at giftcards.com until the first time you use the card, then it returns with ‘no card with these details’..

Didn’t know about giftcardmall either, thanks.

I tried the balance check yesterday and it failed as well, however, if you call them at 877-944-3822 you can get the balance.

Confirmed that using BoA Customized Cash Rewards via Paypal credited for the online shopping category – which is 5.25% at the highest tier

Retailmenot also tracked for 1% cashback within about 12 hours

Needless to say, I will not be shopping here again. It has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and then some. Completely ruined my week!

Bought 3 more and drained to Safeco ins. Split the purchase in two ($100 and 2x $100) to complete the Paypal 300 bonus promo.

$8.64 cash back with BCE paying with Paypal. Confirmed
$3.00 (300 bonus) Paypal bonus Confirmed
$12.15 profit using $10 off promo codes
$11.51 cash back using Cap1 portal at 4% CB (login account portal not shopping portal). Tracked. This has paid in the past even without using Cap1 CC.

$35.30 profit assuming Cap1 cash back posts. $23.79 if it doesn’t.

Arley I would have liked to use my AMEC BCE card but I need to spend $4500 on this Avianca card. Sad. Gotta pay them property taxes. I’ll make $1.75 per $100 after CC county fee, which I’m ok with. Bank transfer makes me no money. Would have either preferred CapOne VX 2x points and transferred to LifeMiles, or AMEX BCE 3%. Not much to do as I don’t have much other spending I’d rather put on the 1x-everywhere Avianca card.

I tried Rakuten and TCB, neither tracked, so I gave up.

I didn’t see i have a 7x$50 offer on PayPal for $14. Sigh. Looks like I’m buying 7x$50 BJs cards. Lol.

What would you have earned by just paying the bill directly with a CC? You need to subtract that out from “profit”. I assume that’s at least 2% or $6 if not more. Not to say that there isn’t value in doing the hoops and ladders if you can drain the cards immediately, but a lot of people try to add the CC rewards on the GC purchase without subtracting the loss of CC rewards when the GC is spent. Also maybe I’ve been unlucky with CO offers but that hasn’t tracked for me the past couple rounds. It used to always work for me over the years.

I earned 3% cash back with Amex BCE CC. Only way to warn 3% is by paying with PayPal and connecting the BCE as the payment.

Yeah I know. I was just saying I assume you have at least one run-of-the-mill 2+% cashback card that would have earned at least $6 in that $300 payment to the insurance directly. Since you pay the bill with these GC instead you don’t get that amount. So if you’re counting the CC rewards on the GC purchase, it makes sense to subtract out the loss of CC rewards when you spend the GC.

I guess I don’t think about it that way. Since I can’t liquidate these Gift cards, but spend them I think either I save $35.30 or $6 paying the bill.

I agree. Using the Staples no fee MC or VGC with Ink yields 5% and no work. use them for all places that have no bonus points. Great for take-out food, dentists, etc.

Otto I know exactly what you are talking about and I did that calculation. LifeMiles are worth at least $0.025 for international bookings for me.

My options were:
1) Pay by ACH. No money lost or gained.
2) Citi Double Cash (CDC). 2% cash back to buy the cards, $1.92 cash back, $1.70 gain per $100 taxes paid (with fee, of course). No miles transfer partners. Total = $3.62.
3) AMEX BCE to buy the cards to pay the taxes. Again no transfer partners (I don’t have a premium AMEX card). $2.88 cash back (3%) per discounted $100 card, $1.70 gain per $100 taxes paid. Total earning per $100 = $4.58.
4) Use CapOne Venture X, 2x miles/$, to buy the cards. 191.9 miles, which can be transferred 1:1 to LifeMiles. $1.70 gain per $100 taxes paid. Value = ~$6.50.
5) Cardless Avianca card, 1x miles/$, to buy the card. 95.95 miles. $1.70 gain per $100 taxes paid. Value = ~$4.10.

If I didn’t have a LifeMiles CC SUB to achieve, definitely I’d have gone the AMEX route. But that’s an important point. In reality, each $95.95 spent on the LifeMiles card is worth an additional $37.31 since I’m working towards the SUB, although more like $31.34 since I have to take into the $250 annual fee into account.
