Our Verdict
This offer comes up periodically. Lately it’s only been working for the $100 denomination which makes it not very interesting given the $5.95 processing fee. This time they increased the discount to 6%, so at least it fully covers the processing fee. You can buy three $100 Visa e-gift cards and get the full $18 discount. There will be a fee of $17.85 which is offset with the $18 discount.
Stack with a shopping portal. Always check your Capital One shopping website and app to see if there are any special offers. We’re not yet seeing the promo code mentioned on shopping portals, but it can’t hurt to click through and use that instead of our above-mentioned affiliate link. Note: Giftcards.com lately sent out a memo to affiliates that the affiliates won’t get paid when customers use a promo code, so shopping portals probably won’t end up paying out either.
Pay with Paypal to get 5x with the Freedom card this quarter. Or check your Citi Merchant Offers for an additional 1.5% back offer.
Zero fees on $100 VGC. Limit $500

USBank rewardscentermall normally gives 1.5% back, doubled until 12/3:
*During the Shopping Event (November 30 through December 3, 2023), in addition to the base cash back your card earns, you will earn the extra bonus listed for the merchant on the Shopping Deals site or Chrome browser extension, and that extra bonus will be doubled for every $1 in eligible net purchases (net purchases are purchases minus credits and returns).

Bought $100 Visa gc via the link on Capital One portal and added the code to get 6% off. CB tracked this morning. Will it stay? Anyone got tracked too?
What does the tracking say? I used the cap1 shopping portal as well but it shows ‘ineligible’. I assume it is because the code was not listed on this portal.
I assume you mean C1 Shopping, and not C1 Offers (different portals).
Unfortunately, it’s likely to get clawed back. If it posts, redeem immediately, as Giftcards.com is known to claw back even months later.
Any DP to get tracked from Capital One shopping portal?
Tracked as ineligible for me. Using code negates the cashback apparently. Not worth doing this deal at all.
Agreed 100%. I am surprised it doesn’t track though as the code is publically available and shown on giftcards.com site.
All of a sudden Capital One Shopping added a ton of codes for giftcards.com but I think most of them are expired. Do you see CYBER6, CYBERVISA, or VISACYBER on there?
Tracked as ineligible for me, too.
Yeah it tracked ineligible for me twice.(I tried Visa GC)
1st time i bought for 100$ without using promo code.
2nd time i bought for 200$ using CYBER6.
I still hv this offer from capital one.
Get $20 back in Shopping Rewards
when you spend $100
This limited time offer is available for one use only.
Not sure maybe hv to try the other cards and see?
Can these cards still be used to prepay taxes or does that not work anymore?
yes. i used it to pay TX taxes.
“Thank you for your order!”
Then after creating a password to log in, found it CANCELLED…
Has anyone used these overseas either instore or online?
Certainly don’t work online overseas
it can not be used overseas
All we’ve gotta do is keep holding the line until they bring back the 10% discount. Do not buy these.
ordered twice got cancelled twice like others said waste of time …
NO!
Anyone had luck stacking with 2% from Rakuten?
You might see the click ID and tracking, but will you actually get the payout, that’s the thing. No one will know until months from now.
