Reposting on December 18th, 2017 as the passes you receive for 2018 should now be showing.
We’ve talked about the Gogoair benefit that American Express Business Platinum card holders will receive before, for those not familiar this is what you’ll receive:
10 free in flight Gogoair passes. Each pass is valid for one flight segment (e.g one flight)
You can now sign up for this benefit, simply go to the following address: https://promotions.gogoair.com/promotion/amexSplash.do and enter your credit card number along with the CID code.
This benefit is also available for corporate card holders. Corporate platinum cardholders will receive 10 passes, while corporate gold cardholders will receive 5 passes.
Hat tip to reader Shashwat Sapre
In 2017, even though I used up all my passes, it always let me use non existent passes. i.e. the limit of 10 is meaningless, just try and it works.
Thanks for the DP, very interesting.
Received email for 2019 passes today
Thanks
Does gogo still block video streaming and VPNs?
I logged in and just see the 2017 ones.
Is there a market for these? can I sell them?
How would you sell them? They are tied to your gogo air account. If there is a way I would sell them too.
Just sell your gogo account?
Does anyone know if you cancel your card do these passes stay in your GoGo account or does AMEX have them pulled?
I think I received my answer, not the one I was looking for. I looked in my wifes account which we had recently closed her business plat and her remaining 2017 passes are not showing. So I guess they pull your remaining passes when your card is closed.
Damn that sucks closing acct in Jan was planning to use these next yr too
I got my email about these on Dec 16.
I’ll be using a few of 2017s this week
I’m getting the message that my card has already been enrolled. I remember AMEX and Gogo were having huge problems with this last year according to Gogo customer service. They just manually issued me the passes (10 promo codes) and based on that error message, it looks like those problems might be spilling into 2018.
I had the same problem but then I just logged in and I see the 2018 ones in addition to the 2017 ones.
I dont know about other airlines, wifi aint all the great on Delta.
