Our Verdict
All in, the cost can be as little as $0, depending how you value the coupons. Also, remember to go through a shopping portal, Topcashback is currently at 12% so that should get you $7.20 back. (If you’re new to Topcashback, you can find our referral links for all the various shopping portals here.)
There’s also a separate deal for existing Costco members to get a free $20 Cash Card by enrolling in auto-renew.

It’s been 8 weeks since I activated my membership but I didn’t receive anything in the mail… Can someone tell me where/who I need to contact to get the cash card and coupons? Thanks!
received nothing. where can we check the fulfillment status?
Some people received Groupon offer of 50% discount upto $25. Which stacks with this (mine did, ymmv). Which make this even better.
I tried to use a 20% off coupon code and it didn’t work. The last bullet says “Offer is not eligible for our promo codes or other discounts,” so I’m surprised it worked for you.
How do they determine if you are a new member? Mine expired April 30th. Can I just use a new email address?
they go by the info on DL
Hell yes, they have the best adjustable bed deal around, so I needed to buy a membership anyway. Love this site!
anyone knows what groupon’s refund policy for this deal? if costco won’t approve the promotion for a household member, will one get a refund from groupon if cancelling?
Yes they will refund or give you Groupon Bucks, provided you HAVE NOT viewed the redemption code. Kind of a Catch22 though since using the redemption code is the way to know if you’re eligible.
to add secondary person, one has to have the same address
Been hoping for a deal like this to come back around. Thanks.
Got an email from LivingSocial, they have the exact same deal, copied and pasted verbatim including all terms. I don’t see a real difference, other than maybe portal payouts and if it’s easier to get discounted gift cards at one or the other.
Groupon bought Living Social a while back. They now have matching deals all of the time.
If you’re paying with Groupon Bucks, be careful what portal you use. Some exclude purchases made redeeming Groupon bucks, and I have had that be enforced in the past.
Wow, I sent this along to my parents in VA. They won’t go on weekends because their location(Fredericksburg) is in such a busy area, but during the week it’s fine(and they are retired so they have that luxury!) I’d been getting them Costco Cash cards as gifts, now I’ll have to find something else.
