Groupon Launches Groupon+, Restaurant Loyalty Program For Mastercard & Visa Cardholders

Groupon has announced Groupon+ a card linked loyalty program for restaurants. Previously Groupon offered Groupon dining, but that only worked with Visa cards. This new offering works with Mastercard as well and I assume still stacks with the Rewards Network program. You need to sign up and then link the card you want to use to your account, enroll in the restaurant & then make a purchase at one of the participating restaurants. A list of participating restaurants can be found here. It seems the lowest amount of cash back you can receive is 10% and the highest I’ve seen is 35%. Card linked loyalty programs are becoming more popular, so much so that we maintain a full list of all the ones available.

  • I got a reply and points from a manual tweet on Thursday, but not for automated tweets yesterday or today. Manual tweet today also did't get a reply.

  • 9 places showing in Philly via the website, none of which I've ever heard of. only 6 of them show in the app.

Curious about stacking also. One place I went recently was listed on Uber, Mogl, and RN, but I only got the uber credit for it.

  • Love these deals. Been using them for a couple of months in Boston and they've saved me over $200. The cash back posts to the cards without any issues.
Can use the '.' trick on gmail IDs to create multiple Groupon IDs and link with different cards to be able to use the highest offers repeatedly.

  • i wonder whos backend they use. its critical cuz we dont shit conflicting. cant imagine they run their own crap. must be mogl. doubt its rewards network.

    • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they use Mogl. I have the same cards registered with this and yelp cash back (which uses Mogl) and they work without any issues.

  • They must be having some startup issues. When I go to the page it says there are no deals in that category.

      • That was it. I changed to a bigger city and refreshed the page and then saw some deals. The page isn't very clear that there just aren't any places in your city.
