This ended up being a real disaster for some NYC places that got overwhelmed with orders since they were not alerted about the promo. My orders at my Westchester sushi place worked fine, and my son used it at a local place in Essex County, NJ. I did notice quite a few bags waiting for pickup at my place when I got there close to 2pm, so they may also have had more orders than usual.

I done got cancelled once but unless you also got a refund that means someone stole your food

btw for anyone whose order was cancelled I believe you can talk to customer support and they will give you a $15 concession

the promo code is kind of buggy, i put it in and apply the code, it worked but then I decided to switch the restaurant and reapply the code, it said the promo code could not be redeemed again… i even did not place an order

So all in all $35 worth of food for 15 bucks. Not too shabby at all.
Make sure you pick restaurants that don’t up charge you for the food so you can maximize your savings.
Maximize your savings? $35 for $15 is only a 57% discount, assuming that includes taxes/tip, and you also had to use an Amex offer to even get that far.
If you seriously wanted to maximize your savings, you could have ordered from two different GH accounts and gotten $15 off x 2 for pickup and paid only $2-3 in taxes. You don’t even need P2 to do this.
I stopped bothering with having a secondary account on these third party apps months ago
Most of the promos that you use on your main acct becomes obsolete when trying to abuse it on a second account. Although this FREELUNCH one from GH is probably different since it’s of those rare promos that work for everybody.
There’s a reason You can’t just open 60 accounts with 60 different emails and milk out $10/$20 off First time user promos – because it’s somehow hardcoded to your credit card’s billing zip code.
Wrong. Zip code is not a unique identifier, and even if it were there are other ways to open secondary GH accounts.
Paid $0.99 total for two sandwiches with sides and earned $1.50 in GH+ cash. Definitely not a moneymaker but pretty close. Glad that pickup was enabled for this code eventually.

Just tried to schedule for a pickup tomorrow and it says “This promo code is expired.”

Ordered for pickup on Tuesday via Grubhub website, nice deal for lunch. Works in Long island.
