Our Verdict

Remember to use INK Plus/Cash with Paypal for 5x. This deal would be profitable for resale if they were physical cards, but I suspect this deal still won’t last long regardless (because of that we’ve posted it to our hot deals Twitter account).

William Charles I did not receive 5x with my ink cash. I purchased thru the gyft app; was I supposed to purchase thru the website instead to get 5x or is this another one that is dead for 5x?

The way it worked was if you used PayPal when paying with ink. I screwed up myself when I bought the first one and paid with ink directly. The second one I set up ink as my PayPal default. I got the 5x on the second trasaction only.

The deal is dead: I encountered the error message that, ‘the code is no longer valid because…we have run out of supply.’

So my orders went thru… I see the gift cards in my wallet… but there is no authorization on my credit card for any of the 3 transactions… so odd.

Wasn’t able to use a Whole Foods gift card to buy a third party gift card a couple months ago.

Same, with an established account got 3 orders to go through using Altitude Reserve. (And over the past year+ I never got in trouble for small scale cash equivalent purchase like this on AR, if anyone is curious).

I used my CIP because it gets 3x UR points.

Would be nice if they let me actually buy one… I got an “order was declined for security reasons” first via CC, then via PP. Is this typical of Gyft? I had an account, but hadn’t used it… probably ever? Disappointing.

I was able to buy two, but both went to processing for 24 hours. I am starting to regret it, since this whole thing feels scammy.

They’re an authorized Whole Foods eGift card distributor.

Same thing happened to me. I read their reviews and they got extremely bad ones. Maybe it’s for the best that the transaction did not go through.

I had no issue with this last time around. Bought $300 worth and redeemed them all for groceries over the following 4 or 5 months.

I got the same declined for security reasons email. I then verified my mobile # and tried again and the three transactions went through, but with the 24 hour processing message at check out. Check my CIP account online and there are 3 $40 charges processing. The three 50 dollar gift cards are in my Gyft wallet online. So, I think it is all good.

Read some pretty terrible things about Gyft, but went for it. Was able to get two but got declined for trying twice on one credit card so did 2 separate ones. Went to processing for 24 hours. Has anyone experienced this with Gyft? Should I be concerned?
